This jacket is made of buffalo leather. The jacket has “Pistol Pete” styling, which comes from Frank “Pistol Pete” Eaton, the famous gunfighter and deputy US marshal. The large right-hand draw front pocket which zips from the side has a pocket for carrying your weapon. The traditional styling has vents front and back, 1 snap pocket, 2 high flapped pockets, inside pockets and zippered sleeves. Additional features include a full sleeve zip-out lining to provide flexibility when weather changes occur. There are side straps at the waist for adjustment, and antique brass-finished hardware. Sized by loose chest measurement, 40 to 56. Measure around widest part of torso, wearing a shirt. Add 2″ to exact measurement for correct size to order to give room for easy movement. Buffalo leather comes from the water buffalo common to areas of Asia and the Middle East. The leather is quite durable, easy to care for and resistant to water and scratches. It has a finer texture than cowhide, thus the finished product is smoother and softer. It is also thicker than cowhide, making the durability excellent and the tear resistance superb.
