These gloves have Kevlar inserts for strength and durability. Kevlar is a heat-resistant and strong synthetic fiber, developed by Stephanie Kwolek at DuPont in 1965. Kevlar has many applications because of its high tensile strength-to-weight ratio; by this measure it is five times stronger than steel. Gloves have a padded palm, elasticized wrist, and attractive design on the back. Sizes X Small to 5X Large.
