Description

This jacket in Soft Drum-dyed goatskin leather 1.1 – 1.2 mm thick is available in sizes 2X Small to 3X Large. See sizing chart. The traditional style has the off-center zipper and epaulets, with plain sides, a full leather action back, a beltless design, and a black satin liner. It is constructed with heavy snaps and heavy duty zippers. Compared to cowhide, goatskin leather has a coarser grain but can be finished to a texture that nearly matches that of cowhide. Goatskin leather is durable and naturally water resistant. It is lightweight and can be shaved quite thin to allow for a closer fit. Drum-dying is a process in which the leather is immersed in dye and tumbled in a rotating drum, allowing maximum dye penetration.
